I've always eaten healthy but lately I’ve been watching more and more the quality of food I put in my body. I mostly avoid white sugar, so I use sweeteners like honey or carob molasses, which are local and natural. My brownies are an indulging feel good treat. Healthy ingredients, quick to put together, fudgy, and absolutely delicious!
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a 20*20cm oven dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine the tahini, honey, eggs, and vanilla. Add the cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and whisk until completely smooth. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and flatten using a spatula. Top with the halved cherries, cut side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 Minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean. You want to undercook it slightly to keep the center fudgy. Immediately remove it from the baking dish to cool for 30 minutes on a wire rack.
Carefully cut it into 9 brownies. Enjoy!
